Lelaine Meyers is the Captain of The Exodus, and the scary woman with far too many guns who hired Alis. Curiously enough, instead of shooting people when annoyed, she clocks them with a pair of binoculars instead. The guns seem to be there mostly for dramatic effect, though she is a good shot.

She possesses a goodly amount of curiousity and a sadistic streak a mile wide she somehow manages to hide with sarcasm. She is generally likeable when not horribly maiming people.

People sometimes speculate she likes being manipulative and getting into fights. They don't speculate too loud though, as she controls all of the betting pools on The Exodus, and people would prefer she was manipulative in their direction.
